What the numbers mean to Tejas
J Write (field news)

The Great Council of Chiefs is not asleep, yet quite the opposite, although very quiet at times they do crunch some numbers, and their silence sometimes is awfully eerie. While the majority of the Nations turning to gaming as viable revenue our council has been in negotiation talks with renewable fuel sources, transportation and a better agriculture economy. "It's hard to be in the pulpit on any given Sunday and in the business office of the casino on Monday" said the Principal Chief and the Chair.

The Tettat, Chief Blackjack, spoke in a rare interview on the matter- "don't get me wrong either, its good that we as Nations can use this gaming as a great tool, but let's look at the reality of Texas which is a whole different World from the Nation. Federally Recognized Tribes in Texas do not have the right to own gaming on their lands much less drive off of the reservation in a Tribal registered vehicle. Some are still in jail for doing such. Remember Texas is still a Republic and Sovereign as such as we. She can Still and does yield a mean right cross when she wants. (FRT) Federally Recognized Tribes have a distinct advantage, yet those rights are squelched in Texas because she is a Republic, and that being a FRT is big big $$$ and all of the gravy that it comes with. With much of the problems of (the gravy) are if you don't exercise the body, the grips of gravy do and will work such wonders as affect the body negatively. This rush to make up a Federally Recognize Tribal Nation for the sole purpose of gaming and gambling is hurting those that are legitimately trying to make their Nations voices to be heard in DC and in Austin. DC and Austin has been looking at Indians all alike, like We are some sort of Country and Social, or Glee Club. We are not a social club. Yes, if utilized in the proper manor we all could profit, and win, but greed takes hold to a lot of people liken to steel. Sitting Bull stated that "it is shameful that the White man has yet learned to share" as he gave his last 5 dollars starving white children. {The GCOC states in the release that we have much to look toward. Traditionally we are farmers, ranchers, sailors, merchantmen, craftsmen, bakers, butchers and chefs. We are artisans with crafts. Collectively, as a agricultural people, we work with our hands and strive to advance our craft working with the harvest of our labor;. But no don't leave to place us in a glass box just to look at. Making us stay in the 17th century is just as much a sin as what the injustices of those times were. These numbers are a good indication of how things can be managed. But they don't reflect the trade offs some tribal nations have had to pay such a high price for because the glitz and sparkles do come with a high price.} Thus comes the stigma of which a root of evil stems from- the love of money. Thus these numbers mean that it is a lucrative business, but it comes with its own price to society.

The UN shows it is United to the United States

DATE: November 16, 2006
WHEREAS, UN Resolution 1514 affirmed independence and the rights of Indigenous people and that colonial practices violate international law. UNTS 1021 condemns colonial states that force assimilation policies on us which constitutes genocide. [The Mabo case in Australia];
WHEREAS the Noongar Aborigines of Australia were affirmed on September 21, 2006, as holding title to Western Australia in Bennell v. State of Western Australia, by proving they continue to exist and are still part of the land.
WHEREAS the UN Charter requires that its members cannot use armed force to resolve international differences.
WHEREAS these colonial states and their dependant governmental bodies as dependant states, inclusive of Republic body governments and their territories . The Federal State (Nation) and its Dependant and Republic States and territories must respect the political rights of the People as set out in the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights;

WHEREAS General Assembly Resolution 1541 (XV) requires the informed consent of a people before they are included in another state [Western Sahara case];

"It is wrong to be an Indian in Texas"
Quotes Moses Ogunly of Nigeria

Moses parts the waters of racial hatred in the US
Moses Ogunly from Nigeria has been in an advisory role for 20+ years, he states "I am an Ambassador on behalf our my Tribal council for our Chief to our Nigerian government assigned to the UN this year as we are doing a summit on Indigenous peoples rights. I am still amazed that some of our own tribes in Nigeria have more, and receive more respect, and get more respect from the Majority Government of our People in Nigeria than of that of the United States and its only Republic State show to its Chiefs. It must be time for us to part the waters here, for the leader in the free world is the United States and it is that they are the ones that are calling the kettle black. It is really hard to look to them as a role model when that they also exploit and destroy there own first peoples. If we are to all walk on dry land as peoples of a democracy. We must address civil rights of all nations including that of the US and here States, and call slavery, slavery, and then do something about it; for we the Nations of the Whole World look to the US as a light a beacon and to the Great State of Texas as a source for that light. You see I have been to Texas and were amazed on how independent it is from the US but how close she is to the US without loosing her Sovereignty. As I and the international community understands it that Texas is the only State with UN Resolutions in case that they decided to advocate or separate from the United States, or in the event that the US fails and become its own republic yet again This is widespread and has been such since the inception of the UN.
But we have to stand on dry and firm ground if the US is to be this beacon we must help to focus its power. Left unchecked the US would be like other Nations which would only eliminate the indigenous peoples rights, and their culture, creation of Genocides courts and societies that are bent on destruction of its most valuable resource its people thus having 2 sets of laws one for itself in such the rules change to fit its own means and situation, and then one for its conveyance which if you are a part of the lesser society makes this really unjust. This is not only improper but immoral but according to their own Constitutions which make it all Illegal. While in Texas I learned of the KKK and its efforts which are supported by some of the local authorities that it was ok to harm Indians in Texas, which the State had policy against them, and thus would turn a blind eye to this kind of hate crime. The case of Lefure which was smothered in her hospital bed is just one example of blind eyes in Texas. Nigerian chiefs Sent an official to her Funeral to pay respects to her.

On a excerpt given to the International Desk of the ETT- June 02, 2006
The United Nations Committee for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination found on March 6, 2006 that:
The United States, its Dependant States, and its only Treaty Standing Republic (Texas) was sited that its Treated State was the leader of the dependant colonial Democratic States in discrimination against its first peoples by denying the indigenous peoples of that land of their sovereign rights, and access to education and fullness of their Judicial system while inhibiting these peoples the utilization and benefit to the use of their lands, and its resources, the first peoples of the dependant states, and the Single Republic have been guilty of discrimination and Genocide in order to: exterminate a people and to gain illegal control of those lands and resources not belonging rightfully to them.
(India " their rights to own, develop, control and use their land and resources". )

Hirschi Huskies – a High school on the High rise -

W Coppel field reporter / J Bears Editor -

The Tettat met with the Students at Hirschi High School to work on a developmental mentoring project with the Tribal Nation- Steve Tucker is the director of the Multi Media Program at Hirschi - Archives were made of the meeting, Students seemed to be enthusiastic and interested with the opportunity to be able to discover their roots and history-

“This seemed to be a step in the right place for a start of a new beginning” stated the Tettat-Parramount of the Tejas Indians – Chief Blackjack – If the project is approved the students will have access to the website in a support role and work with educational and social and community issues facing us all in today's society- the students my all so have a bigger roll in the news paper which has all of our staff elated with encouragement- and hope- it was stressed that their grades must be maintained with a B average or above. It will require that of 60 man hours a month and that they should have to work together as a team to accomplish task, deadlines and goals that are set forth-

We welcome the Huskies to come to the table and share the ideas and work together in growth and in knowledge- we all so thank Mr. Steve Tucker for and the Executive Staff of Hirschi including the Principle and Vice principle, as well as their wonderful receptionist for receiving our Tettat -

Editorial comment: This man is a great man for he inspired the Internationally Known Story Teller Leflure to not be afraid. For the fact that We Tejas have been hunted and placed in the downward position so long our old ones have lived in fear of discovery and fear that we had been sentenced to die a death sentence many times over, for every one stated we did not exist, or that we were an off shoot of some one else, or that we were actinic for so long that the elders had seemed to loose their will all most forgotten our center and their children as well had all most lost their will- to be what is today called Indian- In her journal that was sent to one of our reporters with instructions for post mortum production- it was revealed that they spoke on numerous times and over great distances, The conversations of meetings took place on the Telephone - He is one of many that stated we were not alone in this battle nor were we the only ones that were lost by the government of the United States.
Nor are we the only ones that their state encourages the fact of we are myth and do not to exist.
He encouraged our elders to find a new fire elect a younger Chief which could live long enough to see this through, one that would keep our old ways but not loose the ability to find and use the new ways to help our people. One that would understand about babies and bottles, one that understand about books and careers. He set an example and encouraged us for us to again light the torch which burned so brightly here in the south in the years before the Republic, He mentioned for the need to push forward, not to just go quietly and if need sharpen our teeth again in the ways of old, and start packing some salt- but utilize them in the new field of war that of the Court room. We have so much to thank you and your family for that especially for your service to us and that of one of our own most beloved- You served your Nation as a brave as a warrior so to remind us that the keeper of the fire must do more than to watch it or fan the coals- it was your relationship that inspired more than a Nation you protected a widow from the fears of what was to come the terrors of the night- through you and your deeds that you accomplished it found another lost people and we will not be so quiet for so long . We are recognized by Spain, France, England, Canada, Mexico, Most recently in the later years by Indonesia and the Philippines why is it that the State from which that they achieved their name of greatness, and the country that we are all a part of, sometimes it does seem that they do not want us but only to their convenience - J Bears Editor-
