Welcome to the Virtual on-line Courthouse of the Tejas Indians. From the time of our beginnings in the 1500's to the present, our Tribal Court has been involved with many decisions which have affected the regions ways. Without knowing it, some of our customs have even been passed down to some of the modern means of justice. Thus we come again to place a new cycle in a circle to dance again in a modern hoop made. This site is here to better assist you to obtain the necessary documents you will need. We are also here to help you file your compliant with The Tribal Court of Discovery. You are responsible for your own works and documents. We are not your mother or grandmother so as such this is a service provided for you. The Tribal Court is a place of business and as such a place where horsing around is not tolerated.

The Court Clerk of Record will assist you in your filings, however we are not attorneys, and as such you do, and repeat - you do need one - within the Tribal Court System. Misfiling and other clerical errors will have your case dismissed, or will cost you in fines and other unnecessary penalties, and much discomfort and or aggravation. This means a waste of your time and money.

The Court clerk's offices will also assist you with the following: Tribal Drivers Licenses (commercial and passenger), Commercial and Passenger Motor Vehicle Registration, Ranch and Farm brands, AG permits, permits, Hunting and fishing permits, Vocational Occupational License and applications, general applications for other licenses, Marriage License, Tribal Passports, Birth, and Certificates of Death, as well as such as tribal enrollment. We are here to help, but remember, please be serious, earnest and respectful with your questions.

Soon our library will be finished and be online for those whom will subscribe to that service. If you file online, by tribal law you will also have to send a certified copy of your filing by USPS (Untied States Postal Service) to the Tribal Court to be placed in your record.

Of course there will be fees and other necessary payments needed to be made. You can do this online through pay pal or by guaranteed funds. Accepted guaranteed funds are US Postal Money orders, and Cashiers checks. Please do not send cash.


FAQ and other Information
Legal Notices - Application to the Tribal Court for actions to be taken. (Example: divorce or civil suit to dissolve a business partnership) This Notice will be posted with a fee of $ 25 USD per week with three week minimum required, unless ordered differently by the Court.

Public Letters and Announcements - birth, death and legal events such as marriages and court orders must be filed by an attorney. Public letters are to the fact that an attorney has been appointed to a particular case. Filing fees are to be announced. All judgments and findings of the court may be published here as odered by the court.

Public Hearings - A time when particular events or cases may be heard publicly or as when the court room will be open to the general public for tours. This also includes mock trials where attorneys and students may come to have a mock trial (practice).

Cases Pending Assignment - cases which are currently in or under investigation.

Docket Call - when a case has been assigned to a tribal court and when it will be heard.

Applications, Court Forums, Permits and Licenses - in some cases you will need to appear in person to complete your application process payment option will be on line.
